TREE PRUNING
Pruning is required to remove dead and dying branches on mature trees, and this helps to maintain plant health and safety. Premier Treecare will always evaluate the condition of your trees and determine the type(s) of pruning required to balance your goals and those of managing plant health and safety.
Pruning trees when they are young and growing quickly is important to ensure strong future growth. The shape of the tree is maintained to ensure it is natural for that of its species.
SHRUB PRUNING
We also specialise in shrub pruning which is where the older growth is removed as well as the new. Because cuts are made deeper into the crown, the plant has a “looser” informal and natural appearance that can be maintained according to the plant species or variety. This enables you to keep the plant within the space you have allocated for it.
